Thank You!

My brother and first LAVC President, Scott Marcus, led the first (non led)
LA Vespa Club ride of 12 Vespas in February 2021 to the Doughnut Hut in Burbank. By the end of the year, he got the club into the Hollywood Christmas Parade, moved to Portland, and I became the LAVC President. On Sunday, April 28th, more than 45 Vespas returned to the Doughnut Hut to commemorate the club’s 3-year anniversary. It was my last ride as LAVC President and I want to thank everyone who has been part of the fun.

Whether you are a first-timer, a some-timer, or always-timer, I appreciate everyone who comes out with their Vespa on the monthly (weather permitting) rides . I am grateful for all the laughs, smiles, and good times we have shared over donuts, tacos, pizza, and picnics during the last 3 years. I am thankful for all the patches, stickers, pins, raffle prizes, ride plans, safety talks, and donut money that members have contributed over the last 3 years. And yes, I even have fond memories of speed bumps, rolling stops, street closures, and unintentional detours (that Coldwater/Mulholland intersection is tricky).

The LAVC will continue to swarm the area - better than ever - as Signor Vespa and owner of the Vespa Clubhouse, Kenny Faliero, takes over as Club President. Congratulations Kenny, I look forward to you leading our (non led) rides and continuing to make this club such a fun part of my life.
